Aluminium for the transport sector

Aluminium is a strong, lightweight and recyclable material that is increasingly used in the transport sector.

In the automotive sector, each vehicle has an average of 150 kg of aluminium and this percentage is constantly increasing due to the desire to manufacture more efficient vehicles, not only in cars, but also in bus bodies, train wagons, lorry tanks, trailers, etc.

In the aeronautical industry it has been used since the beginning and accounts for almost 80% of the materials used in the fuselage of commercial aircraft.

In the naval world, marine grade aluminium is also widely used, mostly in the 5xxx and 6xxx lines due to its corrosion resistance, hardness and high formability. Its use here is very varied: naval structures, ship hulls, ship hoists, etc.
